My dissertation project examines movement in school-age educare. I am interested in how movement is enacted, justified, and framed by children and staff within the school-age educare, particularly in light of the dominant narrative concerning children’s insufficient physical activity.

I am also a participant in the Research in Education & Movement Culture research group, an interdisciplinary group that conducts research in the humanities and social sciences on movement, culture, and society.
