Are you interested in sports and health? Your career starts at GIH, Sweden’s top center for knowledge in sports, physical activity and health. Here you can become a teacher in physical education, sport coach, sport manager or a sports and health scientist. We offer complete programs as well as single subject courses on basic, advanced, or research level.

On an advanced level, the master programme at GIH is given, and taught, in Swedish. You can read more about the programme in Swedish at the link above.

The Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences, GIH, currently holds partnership agreements with several European universities through the Erasmus+-programme.

Free mover studentsSingle subject courses

In general, all classes are given in Swedish except for some single courses, mainly at master’s level/second cycle. The single subject courses run from a few weeks to a full semester.

Free mover students, that is applicable students without a partnering university agreement, send their applications to single subject courses at GIH using the university admissions portal
