Interests
Read more about my interests in teaching, research and collaboration.
Health education, didactics, physical education, health theory, learning, qualitative research methods.
I am also active in postgraduate education through teaching courses and supervising doctoral students.
My research interests lie at the intersection of sports science, pedagogy/educational sciences and health. I am interested in the subject of physical education, health theory, health education, learning and especially bodily learning, as well as the art of teaching. Recently, I have been researching digital technology in education, young people and social media, as well as movement as a health resource for the elderly.
In some ongoing projects, I also conduct research on the importance of teacher education, body weight and body shape in physical education, as well as newly arrived students' encounter with Swedish health education. I am an associate editor of the journal Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy and a member of the editorial board of the journal Sport, Education & Society.
I am also a participant in the research group Research in Education & Movement Culture, which is an interdisciplinary research group that conducts research in the humanities and social sciences on movement, culture and society.
Collaboration takes place to a large extent with colleagues nationally and internationally.
I am active on social media where I communicate research and research results both nationally and internationally.
