Interests
Read more about my interests in research.
In my PhD project, I focus on work commuting with electric-assisted bicycles performed by adult commuters between their homes and places of work or study in Stockholm County.
The aim is to study electric bicycle journeys under natural conditions, including questions about commuting behavior, distance, journey times, and physiological, psychological, health, and environmental aspects. The project is conducted by the Movement, Health, and Environment research group at GIH, a group that I also belonged to as a project assistant before my PhD position.
While working as a project assistant, I also studied commuting, but in the form of conventional cycling and walking. I am particularly interested in physiology and measurement methods used in tests in endurance sports.
