Interests

Read more about my interests in research.

My research interest concerns children's views on meaningful movement. I am also interested in diversity issues and inclusive learning environments.

I am part of the research group in the project "Hand in Hand: Empowering teachers" External link, opens in new window. (2021–2024), which is a three-year Erasmus+ project involving seven different countries in Europe. In addition to Sweden, Slovenia, Croatia, Germany, Denmark, Portugal and Austria are part of the collaboration. Mid Sweden University (MIUN) is responsible for the part that concerns increased awareness of diversity in schools and society.

The project focuses on how the development of social and emotional learning and increased awareness of diversity in school and society can contribute to strengthening teachers in their professional role in diverse societies. The project builds on lessons learned from the completed project "Hand in Hand: Social and emotional skills for tolerant and non-discriminative societies" carried out in 2015–2018.

I am also a participant in the research group Research in Education & Movement Culture, which is an interdisciplinary research group that conducts research in the humanities and social sciences on movement, culture and society.
