Interests
Read more about my interests in teaching, research and collaboration.
My teaching mainly concerns sports history and sport as a social phenomenon.
My research interests have mainly concerned Sámi sports history and the sports history of ethnic minorities in a broader sense. Another research interest is about the early modern history of ball games in Sweden.
I have written popular history books with sports history and other historical themes. These include "Zorn, the Church Races and the Sports Movement" (2015) and "Heja Persson!" (2017). However, the latest book differs from the production of sports history: "The Last Executioners – The Story of the Dissolution of a Profession" (2023).
He is also active as a cultural writer, including a number of essays on sports history in Svenska Dagbladet (Under strecket).
