How to access library electronic resources

GIH students and staff have full access to library e-resources when connected to the GIH network or logged in using GIH login details.

Accessing services and items remotely

As a student or employee at GIH, you have access to search tools, databases and articles outside GIH.

You must then log in with the username and password that you use for the GIH computers, Canvas and webmail.

If you choose a service via the library's pages, which is not freely available over the internet, you need to log in.

Here's how:

Click on the link to the service you want to use. You will then be taken to a login page.
Log in with the username and password you use for the GIH computers, Canvas and webmail.
You will now have access to the selected service.
If you want to switch to another database, you do not need to log in again, but can just click on the name of the database without having to go through the login page.
