E-PABS Thursday Seminar: Olfactory Function and Cognitive Aging – Results from the SNAC-K Study
Welcome to a seminar on the deterioration of the sense of smell during aging and the link to cognitive function with researcher Erika Jonsson Laukka from the Aging Research Center (ARC) at Karolinska Institutet.
About the seminar
In this seminar, Erika Jonsson Laukka will present data on olfactory decline in aging and how baseline olfactory performance relates to future dementia and cognitive decline in a population-based sample of older adults.
Erika is Associate Professor of Psychology and Senior Lecturer in Aging, Neuropsychology and Brain Imaging at the Aging Research Center (ARC) at Karolinska Institutet, Department of Neurobiology, Care Sciences and Society.
The seminar will be held in English and presented within the framework of the E-PABS Research Centre for Physical Activity, Brain Health and Sustainability. Anyone with an interest in the area is welcome to participate.
