Abstract

Below you can read summaries about the project in English and/or Swedish. The information is taken from the publication database DiVA.

The overall purpose of the project is to investigate if the brain and the skeletal muscle releases proBDNF and mBDNF at rest and during exercise with different intensity, as well as try to identify which circulating pool (plasma or serum) that is most representative of exercise induced BDNF production. An additional purpose is to study how levels of released BDNF are related to peripheral levels and brain uptake of molecular candidates previously suggested to be involved in the molecular regulation of BDNF production.
