About the course
In this course, you will learn how nutrients support the body's functions and how energy is managed during activity and rest to enhance performance and health. We discuss the Nordic Nutrition Recommendations, which provide guidance on a healthy, sustainable diet.
The course also addresses theories and models that explain the relationships among factors such as eating habits, health, socioeconomics, and the environment, and how these factors affect our well-being. You will analyse and evaluate your own food intake, learn how to ensure nutritional needs are met, and tailor a diet to suit specific needs.
Finally, you will learn how to create targeted dietary advice that promotes healthy, sustainable eating habits and to provide specific dietary guidance to both children and adult populations.
Make the course better
