Interests
Read more about my interests in teaching.
I enjoy teaching learning theory from a contextual behavioral perspective, health psychology, behavioral medicine, pain, fatigue, and mental illness in general and in clinical or performance-oriented contexts. I also enjoy teaching methods such as applied behavior analysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I am also interested in processes and mechanisms at the interface between psychology and neuroscience, such as placebo and nocebo, and the importance of expectations for our general experiences and subjective health in particular. I enjoy teaching about this as well.
