Interests
Read more about my interests in research.
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Swedish School of Sport and Health Sciences (GIH), currently conducting a research stay at Harvard University. My research focuses on wearable robotics, biomechanics, and human-in-the-loop optimization, with the goal of developing personalized technologies that support human mobility.
My work combines neuro-musculoskeletal modeling, experimental biomechanics, and optimization methods to design and personalize assistive devices such as exoskeletons. I hold a PhD in Engineering Mechanics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a degree in Mechatronics Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
Other information
In addition to my research activities, I have experience in interdisciplinary collaborations involving engineering, biomechanics, and health sciences. I am particularly interested in the development of technologies that promote mobility, physical activity, and healthy aging.
I also enjoy mentoring students and collaborating with researchers from diverse academic backgrounds. Feel free to reach out if you would like to bounce ideas or know more about my research or academic experience.
