On the limits of human capacity

What is the ultimate proof of human capacity? That is a question that has been subject for science and innovation for One Water Race together with The Swedish School of Sport and Health Science (GIH) since 2022.

One Water Race

You are now warmly welcome to an open seminar where Associate Professor Marcus Moberg, head of research, and Thomas Ogander, founder and CEO at One Water Race, will talk about three years of science and innovation during one of the toughest races in the world!

The seminar will address the following topics:

  • What have we learned about the limits of human endurance capacity?
  • Are there negative health aspects of racing for 48-60 hours without sleep?
  • Continuous and real-time monitoring of human data using biosensors – challenges and scientific value.
  • A new paradigm with real-time monitoring of athletes – benefits for the sports viewer, the coach, the athlete, and for business.

The seminar will be held on Thursday, the 27th of November, 17:00–18:30.
