Seminar on orthopedics, physiotherapy and sports science
During 16-17 October, you will have the chance to listen to two international lectures on orthopaedics, physiotherapy and sports science. There will also be two parallel seminars and you will have the opportunity to network with others in health care and sports science.

Two famous lecturers
One of the lecturers is Professor Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet from France. His lecture is about how to improve knee surgery with the anterior cruciate ligament injury, called ACL. He has pioneered research and practice regarding lateral extra-articular reconstructions (LET) in combination with ACL reconstruction. In Sweden, he is best known as the one who operated on Zlatan Ibrahimović's ACL injury.
The other lecturer is Professor Scott Lynch from the United States. He is a prominent and internationally recognized orthopedic sports medicine expert. His research interests include ligament and meniscus injuries in the knee, wrestling injuries and skin diseases, patellar instability, hip arthroscopy and hip pain in young patients, best practices for medical autonomy, and sports concussion.
Tenth conference
It is the tenth conference to be arranged. Associate Professor Ulrika Tranaeus and Professor Toni Arndt are members of the steering committee.
There is also a solid program to take part in on the Center for Sports Injury Research and Education (CIFU) website. Successful national and international speakers lead two parallel sessions and workshops. Everything is in English.
The conference fee includes refreshments, lunch, and the first day ends with a networking mingle.
