Professor Geir Kåre Resaland will also be the opponent when Karin Kjellenberg defends her thesis at 9.00 am on December 6.

Professor Resaland is the Pro-Rector for Regional Development at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL). He has over 20 years of research experience, focusing on how physical activity can benefit educational and health outcomes in Norwegian schools. Previously, he served as a professor in Sport Science at HVL’s Faculty of Teacher Education, Culture, and Sports. He founded the Center for Physically Active Learning (SEFAL) and led ACTivate, an Erasmus+ collaborative project involving six European countries.
