Campus GIH

GIH is centrally situated on a beautiful hill just north of the Olympic Stadion. The location next to classic sports arenas and a beautiful eco park is ideal, offering both natural and cultural values as well as excellent opportunities for sports and recreation.

Good premises and surroundings

On campus you’ll find assembly halls for theoretical lectures, laboratories, testing facilities, computer rooms, gyms, restaurant, and the largest sports library in Sweden. In front of the main building there is a large grass area and two tennis courts.

Just behind GIH is Östermalm Sports Centre with artificial turf football fields, a track and field arena, and an oval skating track. Other neighbours are the Stockholm Swimming Centre, the Swedish Olympic Committee, the Royal Tennis Club of Stockholm, and the Equestrian Centre. Furthermore, the lush Djurgården fields and forests are just a stone’s throw away.

Physical activities outside of campus are, for example, orienteering, sports climbing, long-distance skating, mountain skiing, and kayak paddling in the archipelago.

Our visiting address is Lidingövägen 1, 114 33 Stockholm
