For the first time you can study an international Nordic Master in Friluftsliv (Outdoor Studies), as a joint program in the Nordic Countries!

If you are interested in working with friluftsliv, green environments, physical activity and/or tourism this NoFri Master is for you!
Due to covid-19, the studies during the autumn of 2021 may have to be conducted as online teaching.
Subsequently, the studies are planned to be campus-based in Norway and Iceland. The study plan of the Master means that you will get the chance to experience various Nordic landscapes and seasons in different environments.
Welcome to the NoFri Master
The master program starts at GIH with an introduction of the NoFri program (Welcome letter coming soon) on the 30th of August at 10:00 AM. The introduction will include getting to know each other and learning more about the studies.
After the introduction the semester will continue with the course Friluftsliv in periurban landscapes 10 ECTS, to be followed by the course Pedagogical landscapes in Friluftsliv 15 ECTS. The course Quantitative methods 5 ECTS will end the first semester.
